If you came to this page to find out more about programming with Peyton, you came to the right spot.

Wikipedia has a couple of references to Peyton, but nothing that relates to programming:

• Peyton, Colorado, a census-designated place in Colorado in the United States
• Peyton, Wisconsin, an unincorporated community in Wisconsin in the United State

These places do not make sense. So what is it ? This is my theory. Somewhere on a public tender someone made a simple typing mistake, writing Peyton instead of Python.  This description was copied many times by job sites and recruiters everywhere. And probably, that is where you saw it as well.

Now, Python we all know and love, once you get used to the indentation. I started programming in Python in 2000 when it was not yet that popular. Although my job often lead me to Java and PHP, I’m very excited to see Python booming like crazy.  Hope to do more Python programming soon.
